The Tapuika Fisheries Trust seeks to establish relationships with Marae belonging to hapu of Tapuika that assists Marae to exercise their traditional role and function for the benefit of their hapu members and manuhiri.

Criteria for funding:

- Must be a marae that affiliates to a hapu of Tapuika represented on the Tapuika Fisheries Trust

- Application form must be signed by Marae Committee Chair

- Funding is for operational or capital costs of maintaining the Marae
